Two Wexford Accomodations Named In Ireland’s Top 50 Places To Stay

Two Wexford accommodations have been named in the Irish Independent’s Top 50 places to stay in Ireland..

Both Marfield House and the Ashdown Park Hotel have been named in the Irish Independent’s Fab 50 list of Ireland’s 50 best places to stay in 2021.

Both accommodations were included on the prestigious list compiled for Saturday’s print edition of the Irish Independent along with their their online version.

The list was compiled by travel writer Pól Ó Conghaile and Nicola Brady. The list is in no particular order, though is broken down by a number of different categories.

Marfield House is located on the Courtown Road, just outside of Gorey town, while the Ashdown Park Hotel is located at the bottom of Gorey town on The Coach Road.

During the heights of the Coronavirus, The Ashdown Park Hotel along with its sister hotel the Amber Springs, provided meals to 130+ vulnerable locals each day.

“We’re delighted to be listed in the Fab 50 best places to stay in Ireland 2021 in the Indo today. We’re looking forward to welcoming guests back to the sunny south east this summer,” a spokesperson for the Amber Springs Hotel said.

It’s great to see some Wexford accommodations receive some much-needed publicity after a tough year due to the pandemic.
