Ireland stunningly came in second place in a superb performance by the Women’s 4x200m Relay team yesterday. One member of the team was Wexford athlete, Sophie Becker, who performed excellently as the relay team’s anchor.
Alongside her on Ireland’s successful relay team were Aoife Lynch, Kate Doherty and Sophie Quinn.
Yesterday’s time of 1:35:93 in the final at World Relays in Silesia, Poland, was also a National Record. Error, group does not exist! Check your syntax! (ID: 1)
