Cricket Is Back

After a long winter Cricket Ireland have finally given the go ahead for cricket training to resume for both adults and children.

Cricket is a fast growing sport in Ireland, since the national side beat England in the 2011 World Cup. Since then numbers around the country have increased. As a club we now have two strong team competing in Leinster Competitions, who have been very successful in recent years winning both leagues and cups. We also have a social or taverners side. Who play several games every summer and are always great fun.

We are back training on Wednesday evenings. The first night back is Wednesday the 12th of May. We start with our Junior training where we cater for all ages up to U15, which is 5:15-6:15. We then move onto our senior training which takes place between 6:30-8:30

As a club we are open to new members, no matter the age or the ability. If you are interested in giving cricket a go you can find us on Twitter (@wexfordcricket), Instagram (Wexfordwanderers) and on Facebook (Wexford Wanderers Cricket Club).
