Wexford will not be announcing their team until Sunday… Error, group does not exist! Check your syntax! (ID: 2)

The Wexford Senior hurlers face Clare in Cusack Park, Ennis, this Sunday 16th May.

Fans have become accustomed to receiving Friday night team announcements through the media and through their county’s official channels, however, Wexford GAA have stated that they will not be revealing their team until Sunday morning.

This is due to some late fitness tests that are due to take place in the squad.

Damien Reck limped off injured during last week’s clash, Matthew O’Hanlon picked up a knock during their first session back, Glen Malone and Cathal Dunbar are battling quad injuries, while new addition to the panel, Conor Mahoney, is out with a longer-term shoulder injury which he also received in the panel’s first training together.

Likewise, Clare have named two ‘To Be Confirmed’ spaces on their starting fifteen for Sunday’s clash against Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford.

Clare’s team is as follows:

E Quilligan, R Hayes, C Cleary, L Corry, D Ryan, J Conlon, A McCarthy, D Fitzgerald, T Kelly, C Malone, TBC, C Guilfoyle, R Taylor, A Shanagher, TBC.

The upcoming Wexford vs Clare game will not be available to watch on TG4 or RTE. Instead, it will be available via GAAGo’s online platform, and it will cost 5 euro. Error, group does not exist! Check your syntax! (ID: 1)
