Wexford lost to neighbours Waterford in their opening round of the Allianz Football League today…
New permanent Wexford Senior Football manager Shane Roche and the Wexford Senior Footballers did not get their campaign off to winning ways this afternoon.
Waterford defeated Wexford by the minimum in an entertaining game at Chadwicks Wexford Park.
For Wexford, Robbie Brooks, Michael Furlong and Mark Rossitter all played well. Next weekend, Wexford will face Carlow in a must-win Allianz League game, but they’ll be without Michael Furlong after he received a straight-red for a striking action with just seconds remaining in the game.
