Gardaí from the Wexford Divisional Roads Policing Unit stopped a car travelling at 155 kp/h. on the M11 last night.

Gardaí searched the car and seized cocaine with an estimated value of €2,800.

The driver gave a false name and address. Wexford Gardaí then discovered that he was disqualified from driving and that did not have car insurance either.

The man’s car was seized and the driver was then arrested and brought to Gorey Garda Station.

The Wexford Garda Division posted an image of the seizure to their social media channels which has received significant attention. This is because of the picture of the ‘Heinz’ beans can in the top left hand corner.

Some commenters on social media have suggested that the ‘Heinz’ beans can is fake and is used to store cash, which seems the likely reason for its placement in this photo.
