A man was injured yesterday and was treated in hospital following a workplace incident..
A man, aged in his 40s, was injured in a workplace incident yesterday at the Showgrounds in Enniscorthy.
The man was brought to hospital by the Rescue Helicopter at approximately one o’clock yesterday afternoon.
Today, South East Radio are reporting that the man has since passed away.
The man has been named locally as Bunclody native, Paul Martin, aged 49.
The Health and Safety Authority have been notified of the incident and an investigation has been launched.
