Bookies Are Not Giving Laois A Chance In Upcoming Leinster Hurling Clash V Wexford

The bookies are rarely wrong with their predictions…

The major Irish bookmakers are not giving Laois in a chance in their upcoming Leinster Hurling Quarter-final against Wexford.

Laois travel to Wexford Park next Saturday 26 June to face Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford at 6pm.

The bookies have Wexford as strong favourites, priced at 1/20. Meanwhile, Laois are priced at 8/1, while a draw is priced at 20/1 on betting platforms Paddy Power and Betfair.

Laois will be missing a number of key players for the clash, such as sharp-shooter Mark Kavanagh, Ronan Broderick, and Eric Killeen who are all ruled out with injuries.

Wexford, on the other hand, have had a rocky League campaign, but despite this, they still defeated Laois, Clare, and Dublin and managed to draw with Antrim, with their only defeat coming to neighbours Kilkenny.

Kilkenny await the winners of next weekend’s clash between Wexford and Laois in the Leinster semi-final.

In other betting news, Wexford are priced at 25/1 to win the 2021 All-Ireland hurling championship, with Limerick and Galway leading the outright betting.
