Wexford Ladies Football Manager Resigns From Position Following Relegation

The Wexford Senior Football manager has resigned from his position..

It has been confirmed today that Paul Carty, the now-former Wexford Ladies Football manager, has resigned from his position.

A spokesperson for the Wexford Ladies Footballers stated that:

“Wexford Ladies Football regrettably announce the resignation of Paul Carty as manager of the Wexford Intermediate Ladies Football Team following a difficult league campaign. The management of Wexford Ladies would like to thank Paul for his work over the last two years with the team and wish him the very best going forward. It has been a difficult transition period for Paul with a number of younger players entering into the squad while trying to compete with Senior teams. Our Chairman Denis Nolan is now currently working on putting a replacement team in place and details will be announced as soon as possible. Wexford Ladies Football Management Committee,” a statement read.

The news comes shortly after the Wexford Ladies Footballers were relegated to Division 3 of the National Football League following a comprehensive loss to Tyrone last weekend.

The Wexford Ladies Football Management Committee are now on the hunt for a new manager to replace Carty in his role.
