Pub In Wexford Offering Free Drink If Wexford Footballers Score Goal Against Dubs

A Wexford pub is offering free drinks to their customers today, but there’s a catch..

The Wexford Senior Footballers are out in action against Dublin today.

Dublin, who are the six-in-a-row All-Ireland Senior Football Champions, will take on Wexford in Chadwicks Wexford Park at 3:30pm.

The major bookmakers have placed Dublin’s handicap at -24. This means that most bookmakers expect Dublin to win by more than 24 points against the Yellowbellies.

Wexford, who play in Division 4 of the Allianz Football League, have a mammoth task ahead of them, but Shane Roche’s side will take confidence from the fact that they defeated Wicklow last week — and that they have absolutely nothing to lose against the Dubs today.

One pub in Gorey has decided to offer free drinks to everyone in the beer garden if the Wexford Footballers manage to score a goal against the Dubs.

Paddy Blues, located in Gorey town, have made the offer stating in a Facebook post that it’s a David vs Goliath task, so if “Wexford score a goal vs Dublin today, there will be a free drink on the house.”

Supporters watching the Wexford-Dublin match in Paddy Blues’ beer garden today will certainly be shouting for a Wexford goal. Error, group does not exist! Check your syntax! (ID: 1)
