Former Wexford Hurler Stars In Comedy Skit For Local Fundraiser

Wexford 1996 All-Ireland hurling winner and all-round funny-man, Larry O’Gorman, has starred in a comedy skit for a local fundraiser…

The local fundraiser is for High Meadows Community Hub.

High Meadows Community Hub CLG is a registered charity established to develop and operate a new community hub in Clonard, county Wexford.

The Hub facilitates youth and community activities. The hub will be the home of the 13th Wexford Scout Group, Clonard, and will be available to other local community groups.

Larry O’Gorman, who is no stranger to acting in comedy skits for local fundraisers, has once again provided his time to help with the promotion of the fundraiser.

Both Larry O’Gorman and popular local councillor, George Lawlor, starred in the funny skit. The comedy skit sees Larry, who is carrying a suitcase and wearing bright-coloured holiday gear, excited to go on his holidays.

Larry unfortunately has no money, but he meets George, who luckily gives him a chance to go abroad by selling him a ticket for a draw with a prize of €2,000 holiday voucher.

When the pair are looking for money in Larry’s suitcase, George finds something in Larry’s suitcase that he denies owning.

Tickets cost €10 for one, or €25 for three, and can be purchased via the iDonate website, linked here.
