Davy Fitzgerald To Appear On The Late Late Show Tomorrow Night

Davy Fitzgerald will be a guest on tomorrow’s Late Late Show…

Former Wexford Senior hurling manage Davy Fitzgerald will be a guest on Friday night’s The Late Late Show and it’s perfect timing.

Over the last few days, the former Wexford Senior hurling manager was linked with a move to Galway.

According to the Clare Echo, Fitzgerald was set to be named as the new Galway Senior hurling manager for the upcoming year. Sources in the Clare Echo believed that the deal was all but confirmed, but that was not the case.

An official announcement was not made from Galway, and on Wednesday evening, Galway GAA instead confirmed that Henry Shefflin would become the new hurling manager of Galway.

That news sent some shockwaves throughout the GAA community; it appeared that Davy Fitz was a cert for the role, and then, out of nowhere, Kilkenny’s King Henry secured the vacant position.

During tomorrow night’s show, RTE host Ryan Tubridy will have to ask Fitzgerald the question about his move to Galway, the validity of those talks, and how, or if, those talks broke down.

No doubt, Fitzgerald’s appearance on RTE’s The Late Late Show tomorrow will be an interesting one and that Wexford will be name-dropped multiple times.
