Wexford Fantasy Football Tipster Shares His Thoughts For The Weekend Ahead

Aaron, who is a Fantasy Football tipster based here in Wexford, has shared his thoughts for the upcoming weekend…

In this article, he intends to highlight the players who will make an impact on your Fantasy Football side and bring in those much needed points this weekend.

Mohamed Salah

I begin with surely the most obvious pick of GW10 with Liverpool’s Egyptian King. The eternal perma-captain, fixture proof. Salah secured a 24 point haul (48 if you captained) from a hat-trick against a Manchester United side, who were defending like a Sunday League side. I advise you not to have Salah at your peril. If you break down his FPL points total of 107 points into points per game, Mohamed Salah has averaged 11.8 points per game in his nine games so far.

Mateo Kovacic

It was tough picking a player from Chelsea for GW10 for their away trip to Newcastle. Points are evenly spread throughout Thomas Tuchel’s side. I decided to go for an under the radar pick in Mateo Kovacic. 46 points in nine games so far, breaks down to 5.1 points per game, a nice steady pace.

The Croatian may not score a goal every week, but keep him in mind that he’s always capable of getting an assist or two.

Ederson

Again, much like Chelsea, it was difficult to choose a Manchester City player for this article. Points are evenly spread throughout the side. That is why, I would like to consider goalkeeper Ederson. As a goalkeeper, Ederson is a safe pic because we all know how Pep Guardiola loves his rotation policy or as we know it: Pep Roulette.

Ederson may have only 37 points, which is modest compared to other City assets. You have to remember though, much like Fabinho, Fred and the likes of Roberto Firmino, Ederson has had to quarantine in Croatia when coming back from International duty. This has impacted his Fantasy Premier League points.

Michail Antonio

Unlike Manchester City and Chelsea, when deciding who to consider from West Ham, there can be only one and it is Michail Antonio. He is third in the Premier League scoring charts on six goals overall, only bettered by Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) and Mohamed Salah (Liverpool). Michail Antonio is quietly ticking over in FPL this season.

He has totalled 57 points from nine games played which equals six average points per game. Like Salah above, don’t pick Michail Antonio at your peril.
