Wexford Man Leaves Over €1 Million Euro To Irish Charity

A Wexford man, who died in 2018, has left over €1 million euro to charity…

The Irish Cancer Society were gifted over € 1 million by a Wexford man following his death.

The Irish Cancer Society confirmed the news today (Friday) that a Wexford man, who was a native of Enniscorthy, left €1.039 million to the charity.

Another four charities have also been left funds from the Wexford man, however, it is not known how much they have received.

A spokesperson for the Irish Cancer Society stated:

“The gentleman was originally from Enniscorthy in Co Wexford, but had lived in Dublin for some time.”

“He was a retired accounts manager who spent his last years in a nursing home in South County Dublin. The donor had never married and had been predeceased by his parents and siblings.”

According to a report in the Echo Live, the ICS “does know the identity of the Wexford man but declined to say who he is out of respect for his wish for privacy.”
