Is 2022 Our Year? Bookies Slash Odds On Wexford Capturing All-Ireland Title

It’s still only the League, but it will not be long now until we’re back supporting the Wexford hurlers and footballers in the Championship…

Wexford last won the All-Ireland hurling title in 1996, but let’s hope that 2022 can be the year where the Wexford hurlers mark their place in history once again.

While there may be some people out there that could fancy Wexford to win the All-Ireland hurling title this year, the Wexford hurlers do not have a chance in the eyes of the bookies.

Instead, they can only see one clear winner. They can only see Limerick recapturing the trophy and bringing it back Shannonside once again.

We originally published this article in December 2021, and it’s interesting to see some of the changes already taking place. Galway’s, Wexford’s, Dublin’s odds have been brought been slashed by the bookies due to their solid league campaigns to date.

All-Ireland SHC 2022 – Odds:

8/15 Limerick (now 8/13)

8/1 Galway (now 13/2)

8/1 Waterford (now 9/1)

12/1 Tipperary (now 11/1)

12/1 Kilkenny (now 10/1)
