Tony Claims Prize For One Of Ireland’s Most Chrismassy Homes

It’s that time of the year again….

Christmas can mean a lot of things. Family, community, spirit are themes that come to mind when thinking about the Festive season.

For Wexford people, another thing that comes to mind is Tony Fitzpatrick’s Christmas house in Drinagh.

Tony had previously won the competition back in 2017. After a one year hiatus, he found himself in contention again in 2021 for Ireland’s most Chrismassy homes.

The grand-finale competition was down to its final six houses and Tony’s house was one of them. The votes were counted tonight.

Tony did not take away the top prize for 2021, however, he did take home second place which is a massive achievement in itself.

The top prize went to  Sean & Noreen Mc Sweeney’s home in county Cork.

While Tony may not be the overall winner for 2021, one thing is for sure; he has sparked a lot of Christmas joy when a lot of people have needed it the most.

The winner of this year’s competition received €6,000 to donate to a charity of their choice. Tony, who came in second place, has won €4,000 to be donated to a charity of his choice.
