Met Éireann Issue Orange Weather Warning For Wexford

There is a yellow weather warning in place across the country…

That Status Yellow warning will change to a Status Orange Weather warning on Friday for Wexford and six other counties.

The other counties issued with a Status Orange warning for Friday include Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford and Galway.

Irish weather forecaster, Met Eireann, have stated that “Storm Eunice will bring severe and potentially damaging winds, gusting up to 130km/h, higher in exposed areas. Some disruption is expected along with a possibility of coastal flooding.”

Met Eireann issued the new orange warning on Wednesday evening.

The orange warning will be valid from Friday 5am until 11pm Friday night.

A Status Orange weather warning was issued in December which resulted in the school’s being closed across the county too.
