Wexford Woman Accused Of Murder Found Not Guilty

A Wexford woman who was accused of murder has been found not guilty…

Sarah Doyle, of The Heath, Ramsgate, Gorey, was accused of murdering her husband, 33-year-old Philip Doyle. The stabbing incident took place in May 2020.

A week-long trial, which heard that the now-deceased Philip Doyle received two stab wounds to his chest, has found Sarah Doyle not guilty of murder.

Deliberations took over five hours before the jury arrived at the verdict.

There was anger across the courtroom following the verdict from Philip Doyle’s family who were in attendance.
