GCS has been successful in securing a grant for an AstroTurf Pitch. This will be a fantastic outdoor facility for PE classes, and sports teams and for use by the wider community.
A Wexford business has donated a significant amount towards the fundraiser.
Bodibro, a Wexford-based company owned by Wexford Gaelic footballer Ben Brosnan, has donated a cheque worth €5,000 to the fund.
Bodibro are currently Gorey Community School’s official leisurewear partner.
Gorey Community School has since thanked Bodibro for their generous donation.
The school and the fundraising committee are aiming to raise €250,000 for the Astro-turf pitch.
