Wexford Legend Larry O’Gorman To Give Croke Park Tour Next Saturday

And here, we have the brudder giving a tour of Croke Park, son…

The 2022 Bord Gáis Energy Legends Tour Series at Croke Park continues when Wexford hurling legend Larry O’Gorman joins staff of the GAA Museum on a unique behind-the-scenes tour of Croke Park on Saturday 4th June.

The tour starts at 11:00am in the lead up to the Galway and Kilkenny Leinster Hurling final.

A stalwart of Wexford hurling, Larry O’Gorman made his senior inter-county debut in 1987 and went to wear the purple and gold jersey for seventeen seasons. The Faythe Harriers club-man was an integral part of the Model County team that lifted the Liam MacCarthy Cup in 1996.

Larry’s performances throughout that All-Ireland winning campaign led to him being named the 1996 Hurler of the Year and also receiving an All-Star award.

This tour is part of the Bord Gáis Energy Legends Tour Series. These special tours, first introduced in 2008, provide fans with an unforgettable opportunity to hear memories and anecdotes at first hand from their GAA heroes.

Tickets for the tour cost €20.00 for adults, €15.00 at a concession rate, and €12.00 for children. Tickets can be purchased on TicketWeb’s website here.
