Wexford Senior Hurlers Handed Major Boost Ahead Of Next Championship Games

The Wexford Senior hurlers have been handed a major boost ahead of their next championship games…

Two hurlers, who have been missing due to injury from the squad, have now made their names available for selection.

Both Shane Reck and Shaun Murphy have re-joined Wexford Senior hurling training, according to a report in this week’s Wexford People.

Wexford hurling supporters will be delighted with the news, as the two players will add more strength and depth to the panel.

Wexford Senior hurling manager, Darragh Egan, has said that he will be giving both players the best possible chance to showcase their availability for Wexford’s next games.

In Wexford’s next game, they’ll be facing the runners-up of the Joe McDonagh Cup, either Kerry or Antrim.

Should Wexford attain the win against the Joe McDonagh runners-up, an All-Ireland quarter-final against the Munster finalists runners-up await them.

Both Clare and Limerick will compete in the Munster final this weekend and Wexford hurling fans will be paying close attention to that game.
