Gorey Pub Raises Incredible Amount For Local Woman Battling Cancer

A fundraiser was run on Friday night in a local Wexford pub…

Paddy Blues pub in Gorey recently ran a fundraiser for local woman, Nadine Lennon, who is currently battling cancer.

The fundraiser took place on Friday 1st July.

On Friday night, BLESSED band were performing in Paddy Blues. They’re a band that has been described as one of the best bands in the country and they lived up to that last Friday.

There were spot prizes on the night also, while Paddy Blues made an incredible gesture, donating 50% of the bar take from the night too.

Following the night, the funds were counted, and Jimmy Fleming, the owner of Paddy Blues, handed over a cheque worth €6,100 to Nadine to help her with her treatment and the costs that come with it.
