There has been serious flooding in New Ross, County Wexford…
The public, especially motorists, are urged to avoid the area until it is under control and the weather eases.
The floods come after a spell of hot weather across the county, where highs of 31 degrees were recorded over the past week.
A video, shared on Facebook by Marie Doyle at 5 pm on Monday evening, shows the extent of the flooding in New Ross, Wexford.
