Bookies Release Odds For Upcoming Wexford Senior Football Championship

Now that the Wexford Senior hurling championship is over for 2022, attention quickly turns to the Wexford Senior football championship…

Just like with the hurling, a number of teams will fancy their chances in this year’s football competition.

In their usual fast fashion, the major bookmakers including PaddyPower and Betfair have released their outright betting odds for the Wexford Senior football championship.

The bookmakers are not looking past last year’s champions and they believe that the Shelamliers are once again the front-runners for this year’s competition.

After a solid championship campaign, which was followed by an excellent run in the Leinster Club Championship, it would be difficult to look past the reigning champions.

Add their new talent, and a multi-All-Ireland winner in Dublin’s Eoghan O’Gara to the team and they could be a force to be reckoned with once again.

Odds:

Shelmaliers 6/4

Castletown 9/2

Starlights 5/1

St Martins 6/1

Gusserane 8/1

Glynn-Barntown 10/1

Crossabeg-Ballymurn 20/1

St James’ 20/1

HWH Bunclody 20/1

Kilanerin 20/1

St Annes 25/1

Sarsfields 33/1
