Just like with the hurling, a number of teams will fancy their chances in this year’s football competition.

The bookmakers are not looking past last year’s champions and they believe that the Shelamliers are once again the front-runners for this year’s competition.
After a solid championship campaign, which was followed by an excellent run in the Leinster Club Championship, it would be difficult to look past the reigning champions.
