The Top Casinos to Visit in Wexford

Many Irish people love to have a bet, whether it is on sports or by playing casino games…

While using online casinos has become a lot more popular over the course of the past few years, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic when bricks and mortar establishments were forced to close their doors, there is nothing quite like a night out with good friends at the casino.

Wexford has a few great casinos to pick from – so where should Irish players try out first?

Gold Rush Casino – 72 S Main St, Whitewell, Wexford

Located on S Main St in Whitewell, Gold Rush is without a doubt one of the top casinos to visit in Wexford, with guests needing to look out for the black and gold store front of the site. The Gold Rush casino offers games such as roulette and slots, providing plenty of variety for visitors.

Players can also join the VIP Club at Gold Rush, which gives them access to a wide range of tempting special benefits, vouchers and upcoming promotions as well. There are three tiers to the VIP Club at Gold Rush: blue, gold and black. With the black level of the VIP Club at Gold Rush, players get perks such as a 100 euros voucher on their birthday, which is very welcome.

The operators of Wexford’s Gold Rush Casino also run similar sites all over Ireland too. Sister sites of the Gold Rush Casino can be found in locations such as Cork, Dublin, Kildare and Waterford, as well as in Mayo, Tramore, Ennis, Carlow and Bundoran. Gold Rush even has its own casino app in the works, so players should look out for that launching on iOS and Android.

Visitors who have checked out Gold Rush Casino have left plenty of positive reviews online, where the Wexford site has a rating of four stars out of five on Google. Players praised the casino’s atmosphere and the fact that free hot drinks and even sweets are available to enjoy.

There is a casual dress code at this location, so those who want to visit one of the top casinos in Wexford do not have to worry about what to wear for a night out at the Gold Rush Casino. This part of town is always lively, with Gold Rush close to the Cistín Eile and Bella Ciao restaurants.

Bridge Casino – Monck St, Ferrybank South, Wexford

Formerly a firm fixture on any list of the top casinos to visit in Wexford, along with the likes of the Gold Rush Casino, unfortunately the Bridge Casino is currently closed at the time of writing.

The site used to be open on Friday and Saturday nights from 10.30pm till late, so the opening hours were fairly restricted, though it offered an option for a late night casino visit in Wexford.

It is unclear if or when Wexford’s famous Bridge Casino will be reopening its doors, but if it does manage to welcome Irish players again soon it is sure to be another great option to consider.

Flanagan’s Casino – 118 S Main St, Whitewell, Wexford

Claiming to be Wexford’s longest established automated casino, Flanagan’s Casino has to be worth a place in any list of the top casinos to visit in this popular part of Ireland as a result. Flanagan’s Casino promises to deliver all the thrills of Las Vegas in Wexford, so the site is a must-visit for those who like to play a range of great casino games on a night out with mates.

Poker machine jackpots at Flanagan’s Casino are regularly hitting the 500 euros mark, so there is a chance to win a substantial amount of cash on a visit to this leading Wexford casino site.

The focus is very much on slot games at Flanagan’s Casino, so this is definitely one of the top casinos to visit in Wexford for those who like to try out their luck with a few spins of the reels.

Among the great slots to try out during a visit to the Wexford casino include games like Magic Poker, Roulette Royal, American Hot Slot, Euro Cash, Wild Stars and Happy Diamonds. New slots are joined by plenty of old favourites too, with the level of choice at Flanagan’s very good.

Regular competitions and events are hosted at Flanagan’s Casino, which helps to ensure this is definitely one of the top casinos to visit in Wexford. Friendly staff are also on hand at Flanagan’s to provide guests with refreshments, with the Wexford casino site aiming to offer best-in-class customer service in order to make sure visitors have an experience they will remember forever.

Fun Palace – Ferrybank South, Wexford

While Fun Palace might look as though it is more of an amusement arcade, it is actually one of the best casinos to visit in Wexford, offering guests the chance to play slot games and roulette.

Located at Ferrybank South, this Wexford casino can be found right next door to the popular Dixie Barrett’s pub, which is one of the best places to grab a drink in this part of the town too. Fun Palace is also next to one of the best seafood restaurants in Ireland, with Wexford’s La Cote also found at Ferrybank South – ideal for a bite to eat after a few rounds of roulette.

As is the case with some of the other top casinos to visit in Wexford, Fun Palace offers its guests complimentary hot drinks such as tea and coffee while they are playing games here.
