Another Wexford Native Features On TG4’s Show ‘The Underdogs’

TG4’s legendary GAA series ‘Underdogs’ is back, but this time, with the fastest field game in the world…

The search is on to find a squad of ambitious hurlers with enough drive, skill and passion to take on one of the greatest teams in the country.

On the side-line will be the brand new management team; former Cork hurler and county manager John Allen; Wexford camogie star and four time All-Ireland winner Claire O’ Connor and former Cork minor player, Jamie Wall.

Thomas Stafford, who is the club’s Intermediate Football captain, will be featuring on the show, Naomh Eanna GAA club confirmed.

Thomas has been a regular starter for the Gorey town side throughout the Wexford Senior Hurling championship, typically tasked with man-marking duties in the corner-back position. Tom featured on last week’s opening episode.

Another Wexford man who featured on last night’s TG4 show was a Horsewood GAA clubman, Mick O’Hanlon.

The club were delighted with his appearance on the show, which is now into the second epiosode.

People can still catch up on the episode on the online TG4 player.
