Bunclody Survive The Drop As St Martins Relegated To Wexford Intermediate Football Championship

Very few would have predicted this at the start of the Championship…

But, St Martins GAA Club have been relegated to the Intermediate ranks of the Wexford Football Championship following last night’s loss.

On Friday evening, St Martins lost out to HWH Bunclody in the Wexford Senior Football Championship relegation final.

It was a close encounter and a low-scoring game in Bellefield, with HWH Bunclody winning on a score-line of 1-08 to 1-06, helped by Aidan Nolan’s goal.

Although St Martins have been relegated from the Senior ranks, one could expect to see them playing Senior football in the near future.
