Wexford Native Wins All-Ireland Football Title With Maynooth University

A Wexford native has just won an All-Ireland…

St James’ club man, Darragh Lyons, won an All-Ireland title with his college team on Wednesday evening.

Lyons was involved with the Maynooth Gaelic football team who defeated UCD in the Electric Ireland Higher Education Senior Football Division 1 League Final.

The game took place at Dublin City University’s sports grounds and the venue played host to a dramatic game. The Wexford man played at midfield and he made history with the college, as they won their first-ever Ryan Cup.
