Fethard Learn Their Opponents For All-Ireland Football Semi-Final

Today, Fethard found out who they’re going to be playing in the All-Ireland semi-final….

After defeating the Dunshaughlin by just one point to claim the AIB Leinster Club Intermediate Football Championship last weekend, St Mogues-Fethard were placed into the All-Ireland series.

Today’s Munster Intermediate Club Championship final ended with Kerry’s Rathmore emerging victorious, comfortably defeating Limerick’s Na Piarsaigh a score line of 1-17 to 0-10 in freezing cold conditions.

It has since been confirmed that St Mogues Fethard will be taking on the Munster and Kerry champions on the weekend of 7/8th January, with the time and venue still to be decided.

There is no doubt that this will be a massive test for the Wexford club, but they will not fear the Kerry football outfit either.

In the other semi-final, Dunmore MacHales will take on Corduff/Galbally.
