This Gorey Pub Is Giving Back To Community One Week Before Christmas

It’s that time of the year when people randomly go to the pub and enjoy a few drinks with old friends. It’s safe to say that the festive season is officially back….

This Saturday, December 17th, one Gorey pub has decided to do a selfless charity gesture. On a busy Saturday night, one week before Christmas, when the pub would be destined to make money, they are deciding to give back.

Paddy Blues pub in Gorey town will be donating €3 for every cocktail sold in support to the Big Splash for Little Heroes sponsored by LauraLynn – Ireland’s Children’s Hospice.

There are a wide-range of cocktails at ‘Crushed Cocktail Bar’ including Daquiris, Woo Woos, and all of your typical and tasty favourites.

Donations will also be accepted on the night also by volunteers for this very worthy cause.

The pub are also calling on the public to get into the festive spirit by wearing Christmas jumpers and enjoying the craic.

It’s sure to be another great night out.

The Big Splash for Little Heroes will take place at Old Bawn Beach, Ballygarret on 31st December, 2022 at 11am.

If you cannot make it to Paddy Blues on Saturday December 17th, or if you don’t fancy getting into the freezing cold water on New Years Eve, perhaps you might consider donating online to the iDonate page, where over €5,000 is already raised.

LauraLynn Ireland’s Children’s Hospice provides specialist palliative care for children with life-limiting conditions and supports for their families across Ireland.
