Creagh College Have Been Crowned Leinster Junior Hurling Champions

When the schools are going well in the Leinster Championship, it’s always good news for the future…

That is the case for Creagh College, a post-primary school in Gorey, who have just won the Junior Leinster Hurling Championship.

They defeated Dublin champions, St. Mac Daras, in the Leinster Hurling “B” final today which took place in Bray Emmets GAA Club, Wicklow.

It was nip-and-tuck for most of the game, but Creagh College eventually emerged victorious as two point winners, on a score-line of 0-18 to 2-10.

The Gorey school will now march on into the All-Ireland series of the competition, with their opponents yet to be confirmed.

The future of Wexford hurling looks bright!
