Wexford Property Being Offered To Local Non Profit Organisation

A Wexford property is being offered to a non-profit organisation…

A property has been left by Joe Kelly following his passing and their family want it to go to a local non-profit organisation.

Joe Kelly was a kind and generous gentleman who died from the complications of Motor Neurone Disease in October 2019. Despite many of life’s challenges he always appreciated what he had and how lucky he was, and felt that he should share some of what he had with others who weren’t as fortunate as him.

In his will, Joe left approximately 26 acres with a two-bedroom dwelling house, farmyard and outbuildings located in north county Wexford. The house needs significant renovation and is empty apart from a solid fuel cooker, a bath and a sink.

Expressions of interest are currently being taken via an online form. This form is a call for proposals from charities to use the property to help people in need.

Those non-profit organisations interested in taking ownership of the property are encouraged to take their time in filling out the form.

They will need to answer a series of questions, including the registered charity number of the organisation, what the property would be utilised for, the long-term aims for the project, and who would lead the project to make an impact locally.

Please complete the form by 31 January 2023 to register your organisation’s interest in using the property.

It’s such an incredible way for Joe to leave a legacy behind.
