Former Wexford Footballer Colm Morris Takes Up Managerial Position With New Club

A former Wexford footballer has taken on a managerial position….

Castletown native, Colm Morris, has taken up a role as manager of a Wicklow Senior football club team.

Morris was announced as the new Arklow Geraldine’s Senior Gaelic Football manager.

Speaking on the appointment on Tuesday, a spokesperson for AGB stated:

“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Colm Morris as AGB senior football manager for the 2023 season. Colm had a distinguished playing career with Wexford and captained his county on many occasions. He playing in Leinster finals and an All Ireland semi-final with Wexford plus winning three County titles with Castletown. We welcome Colm to the club and wish him and his squad the best of luck in 2023.”

After the 2022 Wexford Senior Club championship, long-serving Castletown footballer Morris announced that he was retiring from club football in Wexford.

Morris previously had coaching roles with clubs in the past.
