Man Charged After Over 160K Cocaine Seized From Premises In Wexford

Gardaí have seized over €160k worth of suspected cocaine in Wexford…

Approximately €164,000 of suspected cocaine was seized following the search of a residence in Co Wexford on Thursday.

The seizure was made as part of Operation Tara and a man was arrested.

Gardaí conducted a search under warrant of a residence in Wexford town.

A man, aged in his 40s who was arrested, has since been charged.

As per a report on Breaking News.ie, the man has been charged and he is due to appear before a special sitting of Kilkenny District Court at 5pm on Saturday.

A Garda spokesperson also stated:

“The negative impact of drug offences on our communities cannot be overstated.”

“The suspect from the Wexford seizure on Thursday evening has now been charged and remains in custody pending a court appearance this weekend.”
