Wexford’s Brian Moore Makes Prediction For Upcoming Fight Against Iovine

Brian Moore’s opponent has been confirmed by Bellator…

Moore, who is nicknamed ‘The Pikeman’, bounced back after two straight losses with a victory by judges’ decision against Lima Da Silva in his previous fight.

The impressive victory led to Moore’s SBG sparring partner and now international superstar in the world of MMA, Conor McGregor, calling on the organisation to hand him a world title shot next.

It was expected that Moore, with a record of 15 wins and nine losses, would appear on the next Dublin card, and that has since been confirmed.

His opponent has now been confirmed by the Bellator organisation.

Moore will fight Luca Iovine in the Bellator Octagon. Italy’s Iovine, who is nicknamed the ‘Duke’ has a record of 15 wins and 8 losses in MMA. Just like Moore, Iovine enters the fight coming with a previous win, having defeated his last opponent via rear kneck and choke.

Speaking on a recent podcast entitled ‘The Energized Show’, Wexford’s Brian Moore made his prediction for the upcoming fight against the Italian.

“I’m going to put him away within one or two.”

I’m on a different level for this one. I’m using two sparring partners per sesion. I’m doing shark tanks. I’m putting in more work then ever. The last fight was good, this one will blow it out of the water. You’ll see,” he said.

The Bellator card in February will take place in Dublin on Friday 24th Feb. For those interested in cheering on the Wexford man, tickets are currently on sale online via Ticketmaster.
