Pop up Gaeltacht returns this Friday night in Kiltealy

There will be a big Cead Mille Fáilte for newcomers from all at the Pop up Gaeltacht in Bowe’s pub in Kiltealy suas sna Sléibthe Staighrí Dubha…

Everyone that has a bit of a grá for Irish is encouraged to join in the Craic agus spraoi in this wonderful cozy pub. I know there are many people across the county that would like to give it a go.

With improved road systems Kiltealy is only a short skip for many people across Wexford with people from as far away as Gorey, New Ross and Wexford Town having already come up the Blackstairs to join in, in what is an incredible experience chatting and joking away in our native Irish tongue. It’s a great chance for you to sit down and hold a fun conversation as Gaeilge with whatever standard of Irish you have in a very relaxed environment.

There is no pressure to be a Gaeilgeoir expert, this is all about exploring and having fun with the Irish language with what you have. There are teachers and fluent speakers there to help you along to improve the vocabulary which was a great feeling for me.

The night doubled in size from the first night to the second night and this Friday night promises to be a brilliant experience for all.

The night kicks off officially at 8pm but some people love the night so much they get in earlier to chat away.

Give it a try. It’s something different of a Friday evening; it’s interesting, it’s good craic and it is in us as a language, it’s ours.
