Watch: Tom Dempsey Shares His Thoughts On GAAGo

The GAAGo platform has come in for a lot of criticism lately…

It came in for even-more criticism online when it emerged that both RTE and GAAGo share a 50-50 share in the pay-per-view company.

Former Wexford hurler, Tom Dempsey, has shared his thoughts on GAA Go.

“I was talking to an old age pensioner. He rang me, he said its not a money thing; it’s not the 12 euro. These are people who have been paying club lotto, county development draws. For them to see that game last Saturday evening, they would have needed either Smart TV, a computer, and the technical ability to get that on. I don’t think its right, I’m really angry for depriving those people of big games.”

“If we want to market out product, it makes no sense whatsoever not having that game on free-to-air last week,” Tom Dempsey said.
