You Could Become An All-Ireland Homecook Champion At Wexford Show In The Summer

Do you have what it takes to become an All-Ireland champion at cooking? Well, here’s your chance…

Chef Adrian Martin is looking for you to get your aprons on and enter the All-Ireland Home Cook Competition and become The All Ireland Home Cook Champion 2023.

The competition has 2 categories; Junior for Secondary school students and Senior for over 18 years.

Entry is open to residents of the 32 counties of Ireland.  Entrants must not have worked in a professional kitchen as a chef or cook for ten years previous.

Competitors will cook off at one of the qualifier shows, with the winners qualifying for the All Ireland Final in their age category. 

Contestants will have 45 minutes to cook a main course of their choice live, at one of the participating shows from The 2023 Irish Shows Association calendar.

The Wexford show is the Bannow & Rathangan show, taking place on Thursday 13th July. This will act as a qualifier for the All-Ireland competiton, which will take place at another Summer show.

Cork Summer Show, Co. Cork
Sunday 18th June (Qualifier)

Flavors of Fingal, Co. Dublin
Sunday 2nd July (Qualifier)

Bannow & Rathangan, Co. Wexford
Thursday 13th July (Qualifier)

Clogher Valley Show, Co. Tyrone
Wednesday 26th July (Qualifier)

Claremorris Show, Co. Mayo

Sunday 6th August (Junior All Ireland Final)

Tullamore Show, Co. Offaly
Sunday 13th August (Senior All Ireland Final
