Wexford Youths looking for new manager after manager steps down

The Wexford Youths Women’s team will be looking for a new manager…

It comes after the news that their now-former manager, Stephen Quinn, has stepped down. Quinn took over as manager of the Wexford Youth’s women’s team in June 2021.

Wexford Youths released an official statement yesterday evening, thanking him for his efforts:

“Wexford Youths Women FC can confirm Stephen Quinn has stepped down as manager of our senior team.”

We would like to place on record our thanks to Stephen for his professionalism, commitment and hard work during his four years at the club which included a never to be forgotten FAI Cup Final win in his first season in charge.”

We wish Stephen all the best for the future and he will always be welcome back at Ferrycarrig Park.”

Wexford Youths had a good run last season, but they have failed to reach those similar heights this season. This season’s campaign sees Wexford Youths currently sit in 6th position in the SSE Women’s Airtricity League, with last week’s 5-0 defeat to Shelbourne being Quinn’s last game in charge.
