Wexford’s North End became FAI Junior Cup champions at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.
An early penalty from Paul ‘Spot’ Murphy wasn’t enough to see the Wexford side over the line. An equaliser by Pike Rovers forced extra time, but the extra half-hour still couldn’t separate the two sides.
Penalties were needed to find a winner, where North End FC won 5-4.
