One Of Dublin’s Key Hurlers Ruled Out Of Upcoming Wexford Clash

Pat Gilroy and his Dublin side will have to plan their trip to Wexford Park without the experienced stalwart, Conal Keaney.

Keaney was influential for the Dubs last weekend against Kilkenny from the centre-forward line when they narrowly lost out after a late attack by Cody’s men.

The 35-year-old scored four points in that game before an injury forced him off the pitch with just ten minutes to go.

According to the Irish Independent, Keaney will not be playing against Wexford, but he could return to action from his shoulder ligament injury in about 2 weeks time against Offaly in Parnell Park.

While we would not wish injuries on any player, Keaney’s loss to the Dublin set-up on Sunday will be a significant one. And after his previous performance against Kilkenny, the Model County supporters can be relieved that the Ballyboden St-Endas player is ruled out.
