Fitzgerald’s local club team, Sixmilebridge, confirmed that the current Wexford hurling manager will take the reigns of their Senior hurlers.
According to the Clare Champion, Fitzgerald will join Timmy Crowe and Paddy Meehan, as he aims for club glory in the Clare Senior Hurling Championship.
The Clare native is no stranger to managing two teams at once though. The news comes after Fitzgerald stepped down from his role as Limerick IT manager.
