Harriers Forced Into Relegation Battle After Big Wins From Ferns And Fethard

Two big victories from both Ferns and Fethard have forced Wexford town side Faythe Harriers into a relegation battle…

Ferns defeated the Harriers on a scoreline of 2-18 – 1-16, while underdogs Fethard, who needed a win to avoid a relegation battle, were victorious over St Martins on a scoreline of 3-16 – 2-15.

Today’s results now mean that Fethard avoid a relegation final, and it’ll be Faythe Harriers who’ll face Oylegate-Glenbrien in the decider.

The championship is over for both Fethard and Oulart-The Ballagh, who are safe in Wexford’s Senior ranks for another year, but neither tean will progress to the quarter final stages.

Quarter Final Pairings:
St Martins vs Glynn-Barntown
Ferns St Aidans vs Naomh Eanna
