The Wexford Ladies Footballers have made it through to the All-Ireland football final after they defeated Laois in Nowlan Park yesterday (Sunday).
They defeated Laois on a score-line of 2-11 to 2-09 and they’ll now face Westmeath in the 2021 Intermediate Ladies Football All-Ireland final.
Goals from Aisling Murphy and the prolific Catriona Murray were crucial to the Wexford side victory who only recently became managed by Lizzy Kent.
The final, which will be played in Croke Park, will take place on September 5th and will also be broadcasted live on TG4.
It’ll be Wexford’s first time in the Ladies Intermediate Football final since 2007.
