Davy Fitzgerald Set To Be Named Galway Senior Hurling Manager

Davy Fitzgerald is set to become the new Galway Senior hurling manager..

According to the Clare Echo, in his home county, Fitzgerald is set to be named as the new Galway Senior hurling manager.

Sources in the Clare Echo believe that the deal is all but confirmed.

An official announcement is yet to be made from Galway, however, the Clare publication reports that it’s a done deal, with his backroom team also all but confirmed.

It’s likely that Galway will make an official announcement on Wednesday evening.

It comes after Davy Fitzgerald departed the Wexford Senior hurling set-up after five years at the helm in the Model County.

No doubt, it’ll be weird looking at Fitzgerald managing Galway if Wexford are to clash with them in the League or in the Leinster hurling championship.
