Watch: Wexford Woman Shares Inspiring Story On The Underdogs GAA Show

A Wexford woman has shared a touching and inspiring story…

Gráinne Power, who plays with the Kilmore Ladies Footballers in county Wexford, shared an inspiring story about her battle with drink and drugs, and how the GAA “saved her” and helped her to kick-start her life again.

Gráinne shared the story on the popular TG4 GAA show, the Underdogs. The three coaches, who were speaking with her following the game, felt inspired with one even reduced to tears. One of the coaches, Mickey Ned O’Sullivan noted that “she is bigger than sport” and that her “story will help every young person in the country.”

After sharing the story and following her performance, Wexford woman Grainne was selected for next week’s Underdogs panel.
