A lucky Wexford punter scooped a nice €500,000 recently…
A Wexford lotto player won €500,000 in the most recent EuroMillions lotto draw.
The player correctly matched five numbers in the Plus draw to win a cool €500,000.
The winning numbers were 02, 16, 28, 33 and 48.
The shop that sold the winning lotto ticket has now been revealed. Gala, on the Waterford Road in New Ross, have confirmed that they sold the golden ticket:
“Staff at Gala on the Waterford Road in New Ross, Co. Wexford celebrate after news broke that their store sold a winning EuroMillions Plus ticket worth €500,000,” they stated.
If you placed a punt on last night’s lotto, make sure to double check your ticket.
Wexford punters have been quite lucky with the lotto in recent times.
