It won’t be too long before we’re back supporting Wexford in the 2022 Allianz National Hurling League…
Although Wexford’s fixtures for the 2022 Allianz Hurling League have not yet been confirmed, draft fixtures have been circulated to each county board.
As per a report in the Irish Examiner, Wexford are drafted in to host the All-Ireland hurling champions, Limerick, in the opening round of the Allianz National Hurling League.
It’s drafted in to take place on Sunday, February 6th, 2022.
It is expected that confirmation of the fixture, along with the other fixture dates for both the Allianz National Hurling League and the Allianz National Football League, will be released to the media early next week.
As with other years, the confirmed fixture list will be available via this site, www.wexfordweekly.com, once released.
With All-Ireland hurling champions Limerick coming to town, it would be great to have a full crowd in the park cheering on the Yellowbellies in Darragh Egan’s first year in charge.
Here’s hoping that additional Government Covid-19 restrictions will not be placed on society, and that supporters will be able to go and enjoy the match.
