Watch: Floods Hit Enniscorthy Town Once Again

There has been various reports across the county of flooding and for many, it’s been far from an ideal Christmas Day…

One premises that has unfortunately seen water damage is a pub in Barntown, while there have been reports of roads being unpassable and bridges collapsing across Wexford too.

Judging by this video below shared to Twitter, the businesses in Enniscorthy town may also be impacted by the floods which has sparked anger regarding Enniscorthy’s Flood Relief plan.

A video, uploaded by Marc Stafford today, also shows the extent of the flooding in Little Cullenstown in the Foulksmills area of Wexford as a bridge had completely collapsed.

Meanwhile, a pub in the Barntown area of County Wexford had also been hit badly by the floods. The owners of the pub shared pictures of the damage to both the exterior and the interior of their property.

Wexford County Council have urged the public to avoid all unnecessary travel.
