North End’s Opponents Confirmed For Last Sixteen Of FAI Junior Cup

North End are through to the last sixteen of the FAI Junior Cup…

In the next round, Wexford’s North End will face Avenue United.

Avenue United are from Ennis, Co. Clare and no doubt, they’ll prove to be tricky opponents for the Wexford side.

It will be a second trip to the South-East for Avenue United, having already overcome Courtown Hibs in the fourth round of the competition.

Clare radio station, Clare FM, have noted that the fixture will take place on the week ending Sunday, March 6th, but no official date or time has been confirmed for the match yet.

North End have previous success in the competition. North End won the cup in the 2017-18 season with a penalty shootout win over Pike Rovers at the Aviva Stadium.
